Summer 2025 in Morzine:
Adrenaline, Sports, and Plenty of Mountains

If you're looking for a summer full of excitement, nature, and major events, Morzine is your ideal destination. Located in the heart of the French Alps, this picturesque village transforms every summer into the hub of some of the most important competitions on the international calendar.

The summer kicks off from June 27th to 29th with the classic Pass’Portes du Soleil, an unmissable experience for MTB lovers, with epic routes between France and Switzerland. Just a week later, from July 4th to 6th, the brave gather for the Spartan World Championship 2025, an obstacle race that will test strength, endurance, and mind.

August is not far behind. On August 3rd, Morzine dresses up to welcome the Tour de France Femmes, where the best female cyclists in the world will cover a spectacular mountain stage. From the 21st to the 31st, the trails fill with action with the Downhill, XC, and Enduro World Cup, one of the most anticipated events for mountain biking fans.

And as if that weren't enough, from September 3rd to 7th, neighboring Champery (Switzerland) will host the UCI Downhill World Championship, followed closely by the roar of engines from the Rally Mont Blanc (September 5th to 7th), which returns to traverse the Alps with speed and precision.

Finally, this year also marks the return of the Morzine Harley Days, a legendary event that brings together motorcycles, live concerts, and the free spirit of the alpine summer (dates to be confirmed).
